A banking illusion
Two A-10 Thunderbolt II's from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI, perform a left banking maneuver after being refueled mid-air and prepare to head back to an exercise over Michigan on July 11, 2012. The bottom-left Thunderbolt is a reflection off of the boom operator's mirror and creates an optical illusion of three aircraft. The refueling mission was conducted to recognize civilian employers who have been nominated by their guardmember employees. U.S. Air Force Photo by: Staff Sgt. Jeremy M. Wilson
