The U.S. Air Force has released a new video that shows the refueling capabilities of two of its newest aircraft – of the Boeing KC-46-A Pegasus refueling tanker and F-35 Lightning II fifth-generation fighter.

Members of the 128th Air Refueling Wing visited Milwaukee Tool North America as part of a community partnership experience. While on site, the team toured their facility and learned about their innovative, industry-leading products and operations. Our goal is to build positive relationships with organizations and communities surrounding our base. We strive to learn from their best practices and history within the community. Over 40 civil engineers from the 128th Air Refueling Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, deployed to central Mississippi as part of the Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program. During their two-week IRT, the 128th Airmen cleared the land and added the water, sewer, and electrical components to the infrastructure. The 128th Civil Engineer Squadron is down in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, for their Innovative Readiness Training. They are helping finish construction on the future site of Camp Kamassa. This camp will be used by thousands of young campers with various illnesses and challenges including, but not limited to asthma, cancer, muscular dystrophy, diabetes, brain injuries, kids in foster care, developmental disabilities, and so much more. Today marks the 75th Anniversary of D-Day when allied troops embarked on the greatest military mission in history. And while the operations have changed since our beginnings as the 126th Observation Squadron, our mission remains the same... On behalf of the Civic Dinner Dance Committee the 128th Air Refueling Wing would like to thank Guy Gruters, Eugene Schlecht, the family of Specialist Thomas Meidam, and everyone that attended the 39th Annual Civic Dinner Dance. It was a great way to wrap Milwaukee Armed Forces Week.
Today kicks off the 2019 Milwaukee Armed Forces Week. It is a joint effort of the Milwaukee Armed Services Committee, comprised of members from all the Military branches, as well as Milwaukee-area citizens and veterans. Its mission is to increases public understanding of the role of the military in a democratic society as well as honor and acknowledge Milwaukee-area men and women serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. The capstone event is the Civic Dinner Dance held at the 128th Air RefuelingWing.
