The Marquette cadets listened intently while the officers discussed why belonging to the Air National Guard was a highlight in their lives and offered the cadets some insight into their specific military careers, "it is important that our local ROTC programs and cadets know who the 128th ARW is and that we can be a part of their future." said Lt Col Frank Alvarez, Instructor Pilot for the 128th. After a 45-minute introduction to all the visiting officers the cadets had time for more career specific questions during an open forum held in the RecPlex/Straz Tower Gymnasium. The event was organized by USAF Major Patrick O'Halloran, Commandant of Cadets, AFROTC Det 930.
