Tech. Sgt. Chance Biller, an air cargo specialist with the 128th Air Refueling Wing's small air terminal, teamed up with Fox 6 News' Chief Meteorologist Vince Condella to collect winter coats during 2010's Operation Winter Warmth.

Condella's own program, Coats for Kids, is now in its 26th year. Coats for Kids collects winter coats and warm weather gear for the Salvation Army.

Biller, who used to go door-to-door with his brother collecting coats, approached Condella about a similar coat drive effort conducted solely at the 128 ARW.

"[Condella] was on board, he said 'absolutely,' he was completely on board," said Biller.

Now in its second year, Operation Winter Warmth ran from November to December at the wing and generated approximately 100 donated coats.
