Construction of CATM facility is on target
MILWAUKEE – Construction is nearing the halfway point on the 128th Air Refueling Wing’s Combat Arms Training and Maintenance facility at Gen. Mitchell Field, Wis., on 6 Feb, 2010. Bob Lynch, the 128 ARW buildings and grounds custodian, said the facility is about 40-percent complete. Remaining construction will focus on completing the siding, installing the roof and constructing the interior of the facility, Lynch said. The CATM facility will provide 128 ARW Airmen with a classroom setting for weapons training, and the facility will feature a Combat Arms Training Simulator to maintain and improve the necessary weapons skills Airmen will need in a deployed environment. Construction of the CATM facility is scheduled to be completed in July, 2010. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Ryan Kuntze/Released)
