An Overview of History
Model military aircraft sit on a shelf in a display case at the 128th Air Refueling Wing. The models were donated by the Richard I. Bong chapter of the International Plastic Model Society on Saturday, January 8, 2011, and took 11 chapter members one year to build. Some models were assembled in 20 hours, while others required more than 100 hours. U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Jeremy Wilson / Released
