Here's to Retirement!
MILWAUKEE -- Air Force Lt. Col. Christopher Charney, the Wisconsin Joint Task Force director of security and intelligence, presents a custom award to Air Force Col. Murry Mitten, the former Wisconsin National Guard director of staff for Air, on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Terminal pub and grill here. The award, which was presented on behalf of everyone who worked with Col. Mitten, was part of Mitten's unofficial retirement ceremony, where friends and co-workers gathered to wish him farewell. Before his position with the Joint Task Force Headquarters in Madison, Col. Mitten was the commander of the 128th Air Refueling Wing at Gen. Mitchell International Airport. Col. Mitten retired after 23 years of service. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Thomas Sobczyk / Released)
