An A-10 Thunderbolt II from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI, banks away from the KC-135R Stratotanker's boom during a boss lift and training flight over Michigan on July 11, 2012. The Thunderbolt II was just mid-air refueled by the KC-135R from the 128th Air Refueling Wing, Milwaukee, and was conducting a refueling mission to allow recognized civilian employers who have been nominated by their guardmember employees.
