Chief Master Sergeant THOMAS J. FREDRICKSON

Chief Master Sergeant Thomas J. Fredrickson is the Command Chief for the 128th Air Refueling Wing, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is responsible for advising commanders and staff on all areas to provide mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, training, utilization, health, morale, and welfare of the commander’s enlisted Airmen. He provides leadership to the enlisted force to enhance combat capability, readiness, and quality of life for a community of nearly 900 military members and their dependents.

Chief Fredrickson entered the Air Force in 1986 serving as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Luke AFB Ariz. March 1988, Sergeant Fredrickson transferred to the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s128th Air Refueling Wing where he continued to serve in multiple roles including Heavy Equipment Operator, Electro-Environmental technician, and Maintenance Squadron First Sergeant. In 2009 Chief Master Sergeant Fredrickson was selected for a Stat Tour serving as the First Sergeant assigned to 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern), Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. August 2013, upon completion of his Stat Tour, he returned to the 128 ARW serving in various roles including Electro-Environmental technician, Aerospace Ground Equipment Supervisor and Maintenance Group Superintendent. Prior to his current position, Chief Fredrickson served as the 128 MXG Group Superintendent.
