128 ARW MSgt nominated for U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Award Published April 3, 2014 By Airman Morgan Lipinski 128th Air Refueling Wing MILWAUKEE -- Air Force Master Sgt. Dave E. Coker, the honor guard manager for the 128th Air Refueling Wing, has been nominated for the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Award in the category of Honor Guard Program Manager. Coker has now won in this category at the wing, state, and Air National Guard levels. This award recognizes honor guard program managers who have exceeded the expectations of their supervisors and have dedicated their time to making a significant impact on the program. Coker has been a member of the honor guard since 2008. Last year he contributed more than 40 hours of his off-duty time to training his team the detail-orientated skills of an honor guard member. Coker has also coordinated approximately 165 funeral details and 35 events in 15 counties and two states. The results of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Award are scheduled to be announced this spring.
